Celebrating Live Steam Engines and Miniature Railroading Since 1957!

The Indiana Live Steamers is a non-for-Profit club located in the middle of Johnson County Park in Indiana. The membership is comprised of like-minded individuals interested in live steam engines, locomotives, tractors, and ride-on scale trains. The property boasts a unique 7-1/2 inch guage miniature railroad that winds through scenic areas of Johnson County Park.

The Public Schedule of Events showcases our days and special events that we are open to the public for rides on our trains.

Special Events such as Birthday Parties or Company outings can be arranged. Check the Special Events page to find out how to book our trains and facilities!

Membership provides access to our Club House and the railroad year around. See our Membership Section for more details on membership elidgability, rules, special memeber events, and railroad information.

Month of September Events

November 16th, 10 AM Membership Monthly Meeting - McGinn Tool

Our monthly meeting will be held at 10 am at McGinn Tool (Joe's Shop), Yandees, Franklin, Indiana. Visitors are welcome. Updates from our Officers, Grounds, Safety, Public Relations, Track, Education, Events, and our new G Scale Track will be discussed. Members, please don't forget to join us!

No Public Run Day in November

We have completed another season of Public Runs. Check back in theSpring for new Public Run dates in 2025. Thank you for supporting us and we hope to see you next year.
